Rishikesh is popular for Temples, Yoga, River Rafting, Camping and other adventure activities around it. Besides this it is covered with green forest area. Its Eastern part other side of River comes under Rajaji National Park which is the home of more than 350 birds, northern and north-west part is part of Narendra Nagar Forest Division also a passage for birds. The river Ganga also cater the need of maximum water birds like Gull, Little Cormorant, Great Cormorant, Ruddy Shelduck and other river terns. The whole region is perfect habitat of Himalayan birds. Slaty Headed Parakeet, Himalayan Bulbull White throated Fantail, Yellow Bellied Fantail, White Crested Laughingthrush, White throated Laughing Thrush, Red- Billed blue magpie, Oriental Magipe Robin, Warbles, Prinias, Vertidite flycatchers, Raptors, eagles and many more birds found here.

Any trail can be done either in one session or full day session. A full day session is always better experience

Fitness requirement:

So fitness is primary concern in all our birding tours. People with past history /ailment of heart, asthma, epilepsy are not recommended to register for this tour. You have capacity to walk at least 4-5 km daily. It is recommended before coming this tour you must do daily brisk walking to maintain your stamina. Since it is hill train so all trails are naturals, So your shoes must be with proper grips.
