Overview

We are about to begin the incredible Annapurna Base Camp trek, one of the most famous and breathtaking trekking journeys in Nepal. Over the next nine days, we will travel through beautiful landscapes filled with rich forests, terraced hills, and charming mountain villages. This trek takes us gradually higher each day, giving us time to adjust to the altitude while offering spectacular views of the mighty Annapurna mountain range, including peaks like Annapurna South, Machapuchare (also known as the Fish Tail), and Himchuli.

Starting from the peaceful city of Pokhara, our adventure begins with a scenic drive into the mountains, followed by walking through traditional Gurung villages that welcome us with their warm hospitality. The trail is a mix of forest paths, steep stone stairways, and open meadows. As we climb higher, the air becomes cooler and the mountains grow larger and more awe-inspiring. We will camp or stay in cozy teahouses along the trail, where we can rest, enjoy traditional food, and share stories with fellow trekkers.

The highlight is reaching the Annapurna Base Camp itself, located at over 4,100 meters, where we will experience a 360-degree view of towering snowy peaks and glaciers—a truly unforgettable sight. We will also have the chance to relax in natural hot springs near the end of the trek, easing tired muscles and soaking in the beauty of the surrounding forests.

Throughout the journey, we travel at our own pace, taking time to enjoy the natural beauty, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and connect as a group. This trek is as much about the experience and the people we share it with as it is about the mountains. When the trek ends, we return to Pokhara with hearts full of amazing memories, fresh eyes for the world, and a deeper appreciation for the power of nature.
