Overview
We designed this 4N-5D tour to showcase Sattal, Chaffi, Ramgarh-Shyamkhet, and Ranikhet—key birding hubs packed with over 300 species in diverse habitats like lakes, oak-pine forests, streams, and alpine ridges. Sattal is a birders’ paradise at an elevation of 1,200-1,500m—home to over 300 species like barbets, flycathers, laughing thrushes, and owls. It’s India’s top hotspot for easy-accessible birding because of its year-round productivity (350+ species recorded nearby), well-maintained hides and trails for close views, and easy proximity to vicinity areas. What sets it apart is its proximity to prime vicinity areas like Chaffi, Pangot, Ramgarh, Kathgodam, Kaladhungi, Corbett and Ranikhet (all within 1-2 hours), letting us chase sightings flexibly without long drives.
The other best feature of Sattal is its versatility: we can easily club it with any nearby birding area based on guest requests, targeting their prime species of interest. Perfect for birders, photographers, and nature lovers, this tour delivers rare endemics, lifers, and winter specialties amid stunning Himalayan foothills.
