Experience the incredible birding and wildlife of Jim Corbett National Park, India’s first national park and one of the country’s premier biodiversity hotspots in Uttarakhand. Home to around 110 tree species, 50 mammal species, 580 bird species, and 25 reptile species, Corbett boasts rich and varied habitats across its five key zones: Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhikala, Dhela, and Durgadevi. Our Corbett birding tour focuses on these prime wildlife hotspots and popular tiger trails, offering thrilling opportunities to spot the elusive Bengal tiger, Giant Tuskers, leopards, and various deer species inhabit the park, including spotted deer, sambar, hog deer, and barking deer. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Afternoon Safari in Corbett

Upon arrival in the Corbett region, you’ll check in to your hotel and relax with a delicious lunch. Refreshed and ready, we’ll then set out for our first safari in one of Corbett’s famous zones, like Jhirna or Phato, well-known for exceptional sightings of birds and mammals.

Day 2: Morning and Evening Safari in Corbett

Today, you’ll experience the true wilderness of Jim Corbett National Park with a full day dedicated to safaris. We’ll start early in the morning, when the tigers and other mammals are most active, exploring one of the popular zones. The park’s beautiful mix of forests and rivers gives you plenty of chances to spot a variety of birds and mammals.

After a break for lunch and some rest, we’ll head back out for an evening safari. As the sun sets, the park comes alive in a different way, and you might see some nocturnal creatures or birds that are hard to spot during the day. It’s a great opportunity to add some special sightings to your trip.

Day 3: Morning Safari & Evening Birding in Corbett Outskirts

Enjoy your final morning safari session within Corbett National Park to catch any missed sightings and appreciate the park’s vibrant ecosystem.
In the afternoon, we will head to the outskirts of Corbett along the Kosi River for an evening birding session. Our main target species during this time will include the Ibisbill, Wallcreeper, River Lapwing, and the Nepal Wren Babbler.

Day 4: Morning Birding & Transfer to Kaladhungi

Morning birding at the Mohan region in Corbett outskirts in search of the Collared Falcone, Brown-capped and Gray-capped Pygmy Woodpecker, Streaked-throated woodpecker, Lesser and Greater Yellownape, Gray-headed Woodpecker, and Scarlet Minivet.

After breakfast, check out and head toward Kaladhungi. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation, enjoy a leisurely lunch, and take some time to relax. In the evening, we’ll head out for a birding session at Ranikota, with a focus on spotting species such as the Grey-crowned Prinia, Black-throated Sunbird, Great Barbet, Blue-throated Barbet, Crimson Sunbird and Green-billed Malkoha.

Day 5: Baur Reservoir & Great Slaty Woodpecker

Spend the morning birding at Baur Reservoir, targeting species such as West Himalayan Bush Warbler, Dusky Warbler, Chestnut-capped Babbler, Yellow-bellied Prinia, and Bengal Bush Lark and other water birds.

The evening will be dedicated to patience-demanding but rewarding observation of the impressive Great Slaty Woodpecker, We will also lookout for Brown-hawk Owl, Rose-ringed Parakeet, Himalayan Flameback Woodpecker, Lineated and Brown-headed Barbet.

Overnight at Kaladhungi.

Day 6: Final Birding & Departure

We will our enjoy our last morning session around Kaladhungi, scouting for Spangled or Hair Crested Drongo, Indian Nuthatch, Hume’s Bush Warbler, Taiga Flycatcher, Rusty-cheeked Scimitar Babblers, Snowy-browed Flycatcher, Small Niltva, Rufous-bellied Niltava and many more.

After breakfast, we will check out and transfer you to your further departure point—ending an incredible birding trip.
